PACS & Imaging Workstation

Picture Archiving and Communication System

SIMPLEX HIMES OFFERS THE LATEST DICOM 3.0 compliant picture archiving and communication system. The PACS server provides connectivity to all DICOM modalities (CR, DX, CT, MR, US, XA, etc.). Review of DICOM images and diagnostics can be done using the ZeroFootprint WEB DICOM Viewer.

SIMPLEX PACS is a web based DICOM Viewer & PACS server that is aimed to make diagnose, view, archive and transmit the medical images. Comes with huge set of measurement tools and easy to use navigation interface to help Radiologists work simpler. SIMPLEX PACS is highly configurable to accomodate a single center or to centralize multi site radiology facility. Simplex PACS can be configured to work as a teleradiology platform who wish to offer service internally or to the global audience.

The SIMPLEX HIMES PACS Viewer’s 3D option simplifies reconstruction technique for three-dimensional visual representations of two-dimensional image slices. The technology offers many different alternate views of the original data using various 3D reconstruction techniques such as MPR and MIP.

SIMPLEX HIMES PACS can be used to measure the volume of a 2D image by using Simpson’s approximation rule; the 2D area spun around a selected axis to form a 3D shape and the volume is measured. This technique allows volume measurements of a heart in a 2D computed radiography image.

SIMPLEX HIMES PACS supports measurement of the Velocity Time Integral (VTI) on ultrasound (US) studies that can quantify the trace of the Doppler flow profile.
